IMPORTANT INFO! 🚐
Over the last couple of years we have had increasing numbers of requests for accessible live-in vehicle pitches. As an inclusive festival we have been happy to successfully meet these requests.
We have now reached the point however where the system needs to be formalised, to ensure that we can meet people's needs within our very restricted means (namely two small fields and a significant slope!).
For Cursus Festival 2027 you will be able to pre-book an accessible pitch in our two usual sizes of 6 x 4m and 8 x 6m.
The will be limited in number, based on previous demand and the restrictions of our site. By 'accessible' we mean the flattest part of the field and nearest to the arena entrance and toilet. We do not offer electric hook up or shower facilities.
Before booking an accessible live-in pitch, please give consideration to the following things:
1.) Size of pitch. You MUST be able to fit your live-in vehicle and all associated equipment (including awning) within the space you have booked. We will not extend the pitch size on the day so it is your responsibility to measure and book correctly!
2.) Accessibility. If you have any concerns that the pitch might not meet your requirements, please contact us before booking. We appreciate that everyone's needs are different and are happy to discuss on a case-by-case basis. We wish to include as many as people as possible within our limited resources.
3.) Necessity. These pitches are very limited in number so please consider whether it is essential for your needs. We have a number of regular attendees with long term health and mobility issues, and want to prioritise those most in need. There is no application / proof required, we just ask you to be mindful :)
Once these pitches are sold you will have to purchase a standard (non-accessible) pitch. The location of these cannot be guaranteed although we will site you as best as we can.
