Sophie's Ceramics Wimborne - Opening Summer 2026!

AHHHHHHH!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!

If you know me personally or professionally you will know how much I have dreamt of opening a Sophie's Ceramics in Wimborne. I believe in it, I feel drawn to it and I know it will be the perfect place to excel this little dream further.

I am crazy, I'm aware of that! This difficult climate, hospitality, the ups & downs - they are definitely there but I truly believe in our little community. People still say to me 'do you still love pottery painting, even being around it every day' the honest answer is it's my favourite thing in the whole entire world!

I have managed to drag a friendly face along to help me this time. You may know Charlie, my partner and the person that has heard about Sophie's Ceramics every day for the last 4 years. You will be getting to know Charlie a-lot more as he comes along on this journey with me (don't worry we won't be changing the name to Charlie's Ceramics, against his wishes ahah!) I couldn't be more ecstatic to be on this journey for the third time with my best friend!

We have been keeping this in (sometimes not very well! I think if you've popped in and seen me recently you probably do know!) for the longest time and I am so incredibly excited, overjoyed and humbled that I get to do this again.

Thank you for making this little dream a reality. I wake up everyday thankful that I get to do what I do and I still can't believe that I have been lucky enough to gain your support and kindness along the way. We couldn't have done any of this without the support of the beautiful, cheerful and the fiercely dedicated Sophie's Ceramics team, our amazing friends and family and of course YOU!

We are hoping to be open for the summer holidays and we are trying our hardest behind the scenes to get everything cosy, bright and exactly as you know Sophie's Ceramics.

We hope to see you in Wimborne soon ❤️

This summer, every child who paints with us gets to adopt their very own dino friend to take home! 💚💙💛

Meet Bubbles, Spike and Leaf – our adorable dinosaur pals who are ready to find their forever homes. 🦖

Not only will your little one take home a cuddly dino, they’ll also receive an Official Dino Adoption Certificate to make it extra special. 🏆

📅 Running from 20th July – 1st September
🎨 Every child who paints receives a dino
📜 Includes an official adoption certificate
📍 Available at all Sophie’s Ceramics studios

We’re open 7 days a week throughout the summer holidays, so book your table online and choose your dino friend on the day of your visit!
