Used over 24 channels and it took a good while to setup. But the sound was awesome. The Toft always surprises. Especially when it’s fed some good hard rock tones.

Just a quick update to remind everyone that as of the 1st Feb (Next Sunday!) rehearsal prices are going to be changing to £15 an hour.

We’ve held the old prices for over 10 years, but moving forward, this helps us do so much more. We can finally give the building the love it deserves—improving the equipment and making sure you’ve got the best possible environment to be creative in.

We want to provide the best space we can for you guys—with good gear, heating and a proper environment—and this just helps us keep the doors open and the studio running properly.

****Important Update regarding Rehearsal Rates.****

To our community of artists at PALM STUDIO:

For over 10 years, we have kept our rehearsal rates static. In that time, we’ve watched the local scene grow, hosted & developed countless bands and maintained a space where you can make lots of noise, be creative, and escape the daily grind.

However, the reality of 2026 is very different from a decade ago. Costs for energy, equipment maintenance, and essential gear have risen dramatically. To ensure we can continue offering a professional environment—warm rooms in the winter, cool air in the summer, and high-quality drum skins and amps—we need to bring our business model into the present day.

Effective February 1st, 2026, our rehearsal rate will move to £15 per hour.

We are making this change to ensure PALM STUDIO remains sustainable. We are not just a room; we are a facility with professional treatment, a vintage analog workflow, and 30+ years of engineering & production experience backing you up.

We have huge plans for 2026. We are pushing harder than ever to provide the best creative sanctuary in the valleys. This adjustment allows us to keep the lights on, the valves warm, and the doors open for you.

This time working with a Custom Blues Deluxe Valve amp in a custom built pine box with a set of vintage Greenbacks. That are about 20 years older than me.
