Trigger Award-winning female-led creative studio delivering boundary pushing live events by reimagining public spaces and interrupting daily life

Trigger, artists and creators of the PoliNations trees, we stand for community, racial justice and social change. We are shapeshifting creatives who dream-up, create and produce bold and brave live and digital events. We interrupt daily life, reimagine and revive public spaces, and put audiences and togetherness at the heart of everything we do. Our work is accessible, inclusive and boundary pushi

ng, and is often large-scale and often outdoors. We create epic, imaginative spaces, fly giant dragons and grow magical pop-up gardens. ‘Ultra smart producers Trigger’ The Scotsman

"In places like the Mendip Hills, there can be fewer opportunities for connection between communities, and fewer visible signals of welcome for people rebuilding their lives."

As part of Refugee Week, we've shared a blog about our upcoming Mendip Refugee Festival and the work behind Humanity Club – a creative wellbeing programme supporting people seeking sanctuary in rural Somerset.

As part of our Creative Wellbeing Programme, Humanity Club, we’re delighted to be partnering with North Somerset Libraries to bring the joy of reading directly to the hotel.

By placing the Initial Accommodation Centre on the route of their mobile library, we’ve been able to support meaningful engagement with residents seeking asylum.

Today marked the second of their regular visits, and it’s been wonderful to see growing interest, people can now register for free, borrow and order books, magazines and audiobooks, opening up new opportunities for learning, relaxation and connection.
