We met up with the uber talented Andrew Van Buren in Newcastle under Lyme to deliver some 100 year old clown bells to their new owner. What a fantastic day we had. We learnt about another talented man from the same town - Philip Astley who was a skilled equestrian & was the father of modern circus. He invented the 42 foot circus ring.

***Important Announcement ***

Blackpool Circus School’s Thursday session fee will be increased to £7.00 when we begin our new term in September.

The fee has remained at £5.00 for a full 25 years but our expenses continue to rise including a recent increase in our room hire costs.

The annual membership will remain at £150. This may be tax deductible for our self employed members and is the best way to support the school and ensure its future.

Thank you for all your support this school year. We have a wonderfully inclusive community. We hope you have a lovely well earned summer break.

This Thursday is our last meeting before we break up for the 6 week school holiday.
