St Bernadette's Parish Players Sleighed to Death
27 to 30 October 2026 As a drama group we have been running since 1977. We welcome new members who like to act or be behind the scenes.

Our club night is every Thursday at 7:30pm and our extra rehearsal night is every Tuesday at the time of 7:30pm (may change to 7pm). We do take a break at Christmas, Easter & a short Summer Break. We are based at St Bernadette's Church Hall, 26 All Hallows Road, Bispham, Blackpool (opposite the Jet Wash). We perform 3 productions each season from October to June. Our age range in our group at the

moment is 18 to 90, but we do begin at the age of 15. Please pop in if you are interested, you will be made welcome.

SHEILA'S ISLAND

An all Female cast, never done before on our stage.
This was a very creative and technical (on & off stage) play!

December 2025
STEP INTO CHRISTMAS

This was a spin off from the variety show she devised & directed in June 2025.
We had a fabulous cast in A Christmas Carol RP followed by a quiz and then hot pot. Plus the best Christmas Jumper. A fun night!!

February 2026
JACK AND THE BEANSTALK

A well loved fairytale, everyone loved Pat the Cow, she was a real hit. We were also joined by The Mullin Theatre School!!

June 2026
A FETE WORSE THAN DEATH
Dir. Helen Bashforth
A competition on the biggest marrow, the chairman was killed. But who did it.... turns out that everyone in the tent except Ray Martin and Miss Parmenter were guilty.

We would like thank all our members, Patrons & audience members for supporting us.
Without you none of these productions would go ahead!!

Brilliant audiences for all 3 performances!

Well Done to the cast. Liz Danielewicz, Mike Wynne, Ruth White, Kenneth Jones, Clare Sherman, Mark Bowman & Mick Gray. You all did brilliantly!!

The Crew - Well done to Marjorie Jones on prompt.
Zoe Dovey for taking on the role as Sound and Light - not an easy role to do on your own but she did it!
Bernard Melling - for taking on numerous roles behind the scenes, ticket manager, House Manager and at the last minute of show week he took on the role as Stage Manager - so he was here there and everywhere.
We send David Wright get well soon wishes.

We cannot forget all the helpers of front of house - Sue Barnes, Annette & Aniello Boccaccio, Christine Clarkson, Geraldine Brown and Harry Chambers (a member of the Misfits amateur theatre)
