Opened in December 2002, ruling the roost for over 10 years, in the building which was formerly an ABC theatre and cinema where The Beatles famously played in their early days.
At its time The Syndicate was the UKβs biggest nightclub with a capacity of more than 4,000 people, Peter Stringfellow cut the metaphorical ribbon and played the ceremonial first record in 2002 when they officially launched
By 2003 they had already been declared UK Club of the Year and in 2004 they hosted the world renowned BBC Radio One Essential Mix with the legendary Pete Tong!
Over the years they welcomed some of the biggest names in dance music to grace the decks including Eric Prydz, Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold, Calvin Harris, Dave Pearce, Judge Jules & more!
We got in touch with original resident DJ and talent booker Jason Fubar to ask him to share some of his memories with us!
