A note from a director with a very full heart…
It’s hard to put into words what the last few months have meant.
What started as a room full of hopefuls walking through the doors to audition soon became a family. A cast who worked, laughed, cried, pushed themselves, supported one another and ultimately created something far bigger than I could ever have imagined.
To watch this show go from an idea in my head to rehearsals, costumes, scenery, tech… and finally to seeing these incredible young performers standing on that stage with the entire audience on their feet is something I will never forget.
To every single member of my cast… thank you. Thank you for trusting me, trusting the process, for giving everything you had and for bringing this weird, wonderful Addams world to life. You made me prouder than I could ever put into words.
To everyone who helped to support, encourage, shared posts, bought tickets and cheered this cast on…thank you. Shows like this simply don’t happen without an army of people behind them.
And to our audiences… WOW. Thank you for filling that theatre, for laughing with us, for supporting youth theatre and for giving these performers memories they will carry with them for a very long time.
We set out to create something special, I think we did just that.
The curtain has come down, the Addams have left the building!
