Phil Winston's TheatreWorks Phil Winston’s Theatreworks College is a centre of excellence in Performing Arts. Our students have achieved incredible success in the industry.

Offering courses in Dance and Musical Theatre, including IDTA Level 4 teaching diploma. Careers start here! Based in Blackpool Theatreworks College now in a new purpose-built complex, including 4 fresh new Dance Studios and separate music room. Near to Blackpool’s famous central Pier in secluded Shannon Street our facilities are ideal for students to train in a secure and concentrated environment.

It's course of training is quite unique in that all classes are timetabled intensively over a three day period. This has proven to be very advantageous as the students experience life away from home for half the week whilst having the stability of family and friends the other half. The process is also affordable as the students are encouraged to attain part-time work, so contributing to their funding. This ensures full appreciation and application. In training our students the highly dedicated and qualified team of professionals who make up the Teaching Faculty at Theatreworks College continually strive to find each skill every student has to offer and develop these skills to their fullest potential....the art to perform. As a well established College Theatreworks students often have the opportunity to perform at prestigious events locally and Nationally from which they gain valuable experience enhancing their training.

Fantastic first week back, welcoming our new students and our now 2nd and 3rd years. Great to see our faculty and 2 amazing guest teachers this week ! Lots of exciting events lined up for this year, our Christmas benefit for Battersea dogs home, the IDTA Theatre Dance Awards, our brand new PW DANCE CHAMPS and our Summer Showcase.
The Blackpool Seminars weekender in August and our brand new Summer Camp with chaperoned PWTW approved accommodation.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Associates in September, many of whom will be performing with the College.
