Had a fabulous little event on Saturday, using our newly setup rigs, happy smiley faces all round, especially from those who flew. The energy pull was fun to watch too, hahaha! Thanks to all who came, and all those who helped out to make it possible; going into the venue today for something, and smelling the residual trigene and stuff, brought some good memories back.
We'll try and get some pictures up soon, of both this and our last event.

Time to fire up the drill, make a mess of metal shavings and get this big lump of metal drilled then, turning it into a rig at last; especially as it's only two sleeps to suspension day, argh, that came round fast.

Now back to reality, albeit with a slightly sore belly :-) It feels like this weekend was like a mini suscon, with representatives from Post Modern Primitive Suspension from Ireland, State Of Bliss - suspension team UK from London and now Wales, Dissected Art Mfg. from the USA, and yours truly. We helped make some great and beautiful suspensions happen, and I personally was really privileged to witness a friends first determined suspension, which he utterly owned despite being so scared. I can't name him yet, he was really facing adversity, but he flew, really well, and now wants to do it again. Fabulous, well proud of you fella for refusing to give up on a dream.
Time for us all to heal now, and wonder why as per usual I chose to do such a difficult suspension myself, I'm glad I did though, it was some much needed affirmation on my behalf too.

A bit of Facebook sanitization required for the rest of those life drawing images, and not only am I tired, but I've also been putting off some last minute frenetic packing for an ungodly early departure and some voyaging tomorrow for more suspension shenanigans, so you'll all have to wait a bit longer :-)

Mmmm, I'm really looking forward to using this red cord I've just been testing for something, it's horrible to tie knots in, but will look fantastic against our typically darker backgrounds, oh yes!

Hmmm, learning to put photo's into albums in the correct order would be a good idea, maybe then they'd be better represented here on the 'wall'.
