Are you ready to bring laughter, joy, and a little bit of magic to audiences young and old? We’re looking for talented and energetic performers to join our small-scale touring pantomime, spreading festive cheer in schools and care homes this holiday season!
About the Tour:
Our heart-warming, interactive pantomime productions are designed to delight audiences of all ages, from excitable children to nostalgic care home residents. This is your chance to share in the magic of live theatre, in an intimate and meaningful setting!
Rehearsals: there are two shows One lot of rehearsals are the 25th-27th November, the other 27th-25th November
Tour Dates: November through December
Locations: Schools, care homes, and community venues across touring various regions - (Lancashire, Liverpool, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, North East, some Wales)
Compensation: Competitive pay, accommodation, breakfast provided - Drivers fee.
Roles Available:
Most roles are multi roles, but we want to see you embody pantomime characters like these!
Principal Girl/Boy: Bold, brave, and full of charm! Must be confident, with a strong stage presence and comedic timing.
Dame: The larger-than-life, loveable character who gets the crowd roaring with laughter. Great improv skills and a fun sense of humour required!
Villains: Master of mischief and mayhem! We’re looking for someone who can command the stage and get booed in the best possible way.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong Performers: Acting, singing, and movement skills are key to bringing these lively shows to life.
Energetic & Adaptable: The ability to perform in a range of spaces, from classrooms to care home lounges, and to keep energy high through multiple shows a day.
Interactive & Fun: Engage with audiences in an improvisational and playful manner, breaking the fourth wall and creating magical moments.
Team Players: A close-knit cast working together to bring the show on the road. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
Bonus Skills:
Experience in pantomime or children’s theatre
A knack for storytelling and improvisation
Musical talent (instruments, singing, or basic sound operation)
Any skills such as magic tricks, cool dance moves or language skills such as BSL.
