The following information has been sent to the email address used in purchasing tickets for the Concert. Those who have reserved tables won't have received the email so the information is copied below. There will be a couple of emails later this week to set the scene for the sell out Jubilee Concert next Sunday 5th.....
BLACKBURN JUBILEE CONCERT INFORMATION
Sunday 5th June. Gate opens at 2pm.
Dear Ticket Holder,
Less than 7 days till the much anticipated Blackburn Jubilee Concert at Cherry Tree Cricket Club, 459 Preston Old Road, Blackburn BB2 5ND.
During the week you will receive updates on the artists and details of their performances together with information on the souvenir booklet which will contain all the words to the songs on the day.
Some important information you must be aware of:
* Please bring your ticket. No ticket = No entry
* There will be bag searches at the gate. Gate opens at 2pm and the concert starts at 3.15pm
* NO ALCOHOL allowed onto the concert site
* NO DOGS allowed onto the concert site
We encourage you to:
* Bring tables, chairs and picnics (although food is available)
* Be colourfully dressed
Jubilee Afternoon Tea, a Hog Roast, Burgers, Vegan Burgers, Sausages, Baked Potatoes, Cakes, Tea and Coffee will be available from 2pm. There are also two large bars serving a full complement of drinks and minerals.
JUBILEE AFTERNOON TEA is available to pre order and must be booked by 4pm Tuesday 31st May.
It's a special box containing a selection of freshly made sandwiches (Ham Salad, Tuna Mayo and Cucumber, Roast Chicken and Stuffing, Cheddar Cheese, Tomato and Onion), locally sourced fresh Pork Pie, Traditional Cream Scone (freshly baked with Raspberry Jam and Fresh Cream).
