Now this place has always been the place to be
What is now known as the q lounge it actually has a very long history

In this video I explore the buildings 115 year history
How many generations have walked through those double doors for an evening of entertainment!
Be it skating, a movie ,bingo or a night out drinking this building has seen it all

So a few people have brought this to my attention over passed few days this video I've been tagged had it sent to me

I think its absolutely terrible that these once beautiful buildings have gotten in this state

We can't as a proud Town let this happen now apparently there is a plan to be converting the heritage-listed office buildings into residential flats to address vacant properties
plans exist for a new link road between Richmond Terrace and James Street, and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council has produced a development guide for the conservation area.

BUT THE PLANS Are due to take place between 2021 and 2035 that's a really long time for any building to be stood there dormant.
And I am worried the building being left then by the time comes round to it ahh just demolish it well AH HA NO! There so many things that can be done with these properties and they have so much potential

What i would like to do is maybe get the public involved cause it is in a terrible state just clean it up a but I want people to read this share it get local groups
I'll do the work as well!
