A big shout out and thank you to Steve Hudson! 👏

Every year, without fail, Steve is there helping us get everything ready for Carnival and then staying behind to help pack it all away afterwards.

This year he was back again with the telehandler, helping load the lorry and making the clear-up so much easier. It’s one of those jobs that often goes unnoticed, but it makes a massive difference.

We really are so lucky to have your continued support, Steve.

A huge thank you to Alistair Evans, Sam Evans, Alex Evans and everyone at Ransfords for the incredible support you’ve given this year’s Bishop’s Castle Carnival.

From helping put up the bunting, supplying a lorry and drivers for our Carnival Royalty, lending us essential equipment, and working so hard with the event set-up, your support has been absolutely invaluable.

A special thank you for bringing along your magnificent steam engines and vintage trucks. They were a real highlight of the day, looking fantastic in the parade before going on display for everyone to enjoy. They added so much character to our 125th Carnival, and it was wonderful to see so many people stopping to admire them throughout the day.

They certainly caught the eye of our special guest, Adjoa Andoh, who absolutely loved seeing the steam engines and vintage trucks and was delighted to spend time admiring them. It was lovely to be able to showcase such an important part of our local heritage.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort and generosity you show us year after year. The Carnival simply wouldn’t be the same without the continued support of local businesses and families like yours.

Thank you all we really do appreciate everything you do!

A huge thank you to JFP Construction for your fantastic support of this year’s Bishop’s Castle Carnival.

We are incredibly grateful for the loan of your truck, which played a vital role in helping us get all of the road closure cones out safely and efficiently, as well as being very useful for many other tasks.
Without your generosity and support, this simply wouldn’t have been possible.
