This Saturday, Bishop Auckland Choral Society is performing at Auckland Palace for a spectacular evening of music.
Opera Choruses, will weave together a wonderful selection of opera’s most beloved classics, featuring works by Verdi, Rossini, and Mozart, alongside a few lesser-known treasures.
With accompaniment by a small instrumental ensemble and featuring performances by professional soloists, the choir will bring these magnificent works to life in the atmospheric setting of St. Peter’s Chapel, Bishop Auckland Palace.
The concert takes place on Saturday the 14th of June at 7pm. Adult tickets are available from us priced at £12, Under 12's free.
Bishop Auckland Choral Society is a welcoming and enthusiastic choir based in County Durham, with a proud history spanning over 70 years. With around 40 members, the choir performs two concerts a year, often joined by guest singers and musicians.
Under the expert leadership of Musical Director Venera Bojkova, supported by accompanist Duncan Brown, the society is committed to delivering high-quality performances while maintaining a friendly and inclusive atmosphere—no auditions required.
