After absolutely smashing his A levels and getting excellent results, one of our team members Ryan Laws is about to embark on the next stage of his career. We are sure he will do really well in his apprenticeship, with a great work ethic and a cracking personality, he has a very bright future ahead of him.
Sadly, his new commitments mean that he will no longer be able to work at the club, so we're on the look out for a new team member.
We all wish Ryan well and he will still be working a couple of more shifts before he leaves, so feel free to congratulate him before he goes. We'll still see him about the club after he's left, he'll just be on the other side of the bar and helping out when we get slammed 😂
So we are looking for a new team member or potentially 2 if we split the shifts.
We are looking for friendly, outgoing people who can take a bit of banter but know when to draw the line. They also need to be flexible to provide cover when other team members are on holiday.
Hours available are
Monday 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Thursday 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Friday 3:30pm - 11:00pm
The role involves serving customers, general cellar work, restocking fridges, cleaning and maintaining the tables.
Training will be provided for the right candidate, the most important thing is your attitude towards the job.
I've answered some questions that we always get asked when we are recruiting, to avoid anyone having to ask again -
All of our staff are employed through the books - we do not pay anyone cash in hand.
You will be working on the premises unsupervised, so you must be over 18 and be OK working alone.
Shift end times can vary, up to midnight for last orders and cleaning up afterwards, so you can't rely on public transport. People with their own transport are preferred.
