Sometimes a hobby becomes so much more than a hobby.

It becomes the place they find their confidence.
The place they make lifelong friends.
The place they learn to be brave, creative and resilient.
The place they discover what they’re capable of.

At Buzz, we don’t just want to create great dancers.
We want to help grow great humans.

A childhood filled with music, movement, friendships, performances, laughter and memories they’ll carry with them long after the dancing stops.

We had a fabulous workshop with Adam from Ballet Lorent today.

Adam brought work from Ballet Lorent’s upcoming show - Hansel and Gretal. He gave the groups creative tasks, taking them through concepts from the show and of course the story.

It was a wonderful workshop from a very nurturing and creative dance artist ❤️

We’ll be putting together a group booking to go see the show!

We’ve had the best 3rd day! We’ll post photos soon but for now here is our full group Six routine.

Bringing professional performers into Buzz gives our young people the chance to learn from those working in the industry, experience something new and, most importantly, see where dance could take them.

Today was Erin’s final day of classes with us before she sets off on her next adventure, moving to Essex and beginning her training at Performers College.

I watched her carefully today. At 18, she’s older than most of the dancers in her classes, yet she still wants to be at Buzz. She still wants to learn, take class and encourage the next generation. That says so much about the dancer and the person she has become.

To Erin:

Never be afraid to be yourself. The world doesn’t need another version of somebody else, it needs the unique dancer and person that only you can be.

We are incredibly proud of you, and we know we’ll see you very soon. ❤️
