I'm back at Middleton Park in Leeds today for Middleton's Got Talent - lots of lovely live music and dance, and fun activities for a great afternoon out. 12 noon to 4pm.

Heading out for a very busy day face painting for two schools today.

First up is CastleFest at Castle Hill School, face painting was a huge hit last year and I've been invited back this year so I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun. Lots of rainbow paint on hand!

Then after a day at Castle Hill I'll be moving on to Norristhorpe School for their fun day! Another repeat customer, and I'm sure lots more happy smiling faces.

Lots of familiar faces at Little Hiccups Eid party this morning!

And a lovely experience for one little girl as she got creative face painting one of the staff.

If you're a long time follower you'll know that it happens often that during the quieter moments I let some children get hands on and let their creativity flow, and it's never been a bad decision!

Today whilst face painting at Headingley for the cricket I met the lovely Cleo, who I have previously seen at Little Hiccups events.

She very nicely asked if she could paint so during a quiet patch I taught her some simple flowers which she did an amazing job with!

Cleo is keen to practice at home so I gave her my favourite flower petal brush - one that's had its home in my kit since I first started painting more than 16 years ago! It is now getting a little bit worn so not doing it's best work for me but perfect for a budding artist to practice with until she finds a new one. 🖌️
