yesterday afternoon’s vinyl painting event was divine!

I hosted 10 of you guys at the lovely Nexus Cafe in Digbeth for an afternoon of community, good music & creative vibes.

I’ve still got spaces for next weeks Yoga & Vinyl Painting Event on SATURDAY 14th MARCH 2:30-6pm, with a yoga class run by IAMYOGI Studios Owner and the art class run by me!

I’ve created this workshop alongside IAMYOGIUK to bring you the opportunity to feel inspired. Yoga is an amazing way to release tension in the body and clear the mind. There is a new event happening in King's Heath: join me as your artist guide for
VINYL PAINTING
an event for the music and art lovers, paint your very own vinyl at Fletcher's Bar (attached to the well loved Kitchen Garden Cafe).
Enjoy an evening of sultry soul and mellow jazz, inspired by music of the greats, take the evening to paint and meet others from the community.

£20 pp including a drink, and all art materials.
January 7th, 6:30-8:30, Fletcher's Bar, 7 York Road (Kitchen Garden Cafe is 17 York Road, but access is via the bar)

Between 2020 and 2023 I studied Fine Art at university and created many many paintings centered around my connection to nature. In particular, places that I frequently visit or travelled to that generated a deep connection. Sources of energy and inspiration, these places became my muse: this is a spotlight post for the paintings of that era.

My favourite piece 'Oasis' [first photo] was aquired by Nottingham Trent University at my Final Year Degree Show, and is now on display in the Dean's Office as a part of their collection.

Hi! Welcome to the official page for my art.

My work as an artist involves creating oil painting series that comment on human connection to the Earth, and the presence of the soul in every thread of life. I am interested in the way humanity and nature are interlinked, the essence of life that weaves its way between us.

Nature and 'the soul' are thematic across my mural work: I paint murals for local businesses, charities and private commissions for client's homes, all designed and hand painted by myself. In my most recent project, I worked alongside Birmingham Community Healthcare Charity to deliver 4 murals across 3 sites in Birmingham, ranging from an immersive coral reef scene to a bold 'Sky Mural' in the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre.

As a creative, I am constantly ebbing and flowing between different mediums of working, new ideas and transformative processes of working. Alongside oils and mural work I paint with watercolours whilst I travel, to capture moments and scenery of life in the places I visit. I have also been fortunate enough to work in 2 art collective projects whilst studying Fine Art at university in Nottingham. Across these projects, I exhibited paintings, film and sculptural work in 2 exhibitions, curated alongside my peers, at Surface Gallery and Backlit Gallery in Central Nottingham.
