This is upsetting news, a few of us were having a chat about Glen at last weeks open mic. 😢

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Glen Hansard in the early hours of this morning.

We are still dealing with the shock of it all, so we kindly ask that the privacy of Glen’s family, colleagues and friends is respected at this difficult time.

​Step 1: Grab your instrument, your voice, or just your music-loving self and head down to Joe Joe Jim's in Birmingham.

​Step 2: Find Dan when you get there to put your name up on the board. It’s first-come, first-served, and fills up quick, so get down as close to 7pm as possible 😁.

​Step 3: Take to the stage when your time slot is! Whether you play solo, or need a couple of our friendly regulars to back you, you perform covers or originals we’ve got your back.
