We're passionate about the art of tufting and being able to transform yarn into beautiful, textured rugs, wall hangings and cozy decor. We're based in the Jewellery Quarter, we offer hands-on tufting workshops across the West Midlands, where you can learn, create and have fun. Our workshops provide a relaxed and friendly space to explore this unique craft, discover new skills and connect with fellow creatives. The last of the three cities in this little European adventure, designed and tufted for Stripe.

None of these pieces would have made it where they needed to go without a little help behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to Elba Designs, who framed every single artwork and went above and beyond to build, pack and get each piece ready for its journey. It's the support you really appreciate as a small business, working with people who understands that there's always more to do than what's written on the brief.

We might be small individually, but put a few of us together and we can make some pretty big things happen💪

Three cities later… I think we can call that a job well done!

And then came Paris 🇫🇷

The second piece made for the European leg of the Stripe Tour. And just like the London piece, the team wanted to make sure the city was instantly recognisable.

Having worked in the corporate world before starting this business, I've got a real appreciation for everything that goes into getting a project like this over the line.

Because it's never just about the finished piece. There's the initial brief, lots of conversations and tweaking, getting everyone in different countries to agree on the details, working out timings, and then somehow getting a giant tufted piece from Birmingham to Paris at exactly the right time 🫠

And that's before I've even picked up the tufting gun!

So, there you have it. Paris, in tufted form ❤️

When a global company notices your little business… it's a pretty big deal, right? YES. BECAUSE IT HAPPENED!

I won't lie, I absolutely lost my s**t!

Stripe Communications (the largest privately owned Fintech company 🤯) got in contact and asked me to design and create some artwork for their European events.

This one right here was the first, for London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The reality of running a business means I don't get to tuft much anymore. And while I always say we (because this community feels so much bigger than just me), the truth is, this studio is run by one pair of hands. Mine.

So somewhere between running the business, teaching workshops and everything else that comes with it, the one thing that started all of this took a back seat.

And that's why this opportunity means so much.
It gave me something I didn't realise I'd been missing. The time to slow down, get back behind the frame and fall in love with tufting all over again.

So, thank you Stripe, and especially the comms team, for trusting me with a project like this. It means more than I can put into words.

Sometimes this little business presents us with some incredible opportunities, and this was definitely one of them!

We were invited to host a tufting workshop at Soho Farmhouse, and it also happened to be our first outside of Birmingham. That's a pretty big milestone, and what a location to kick things off!

Seeing more and more people discover tufting, give it a go and surprise themselves with what they create is always THE best part of the job 💛

If this is what taking tufting beyond Birmingham looks like, then here's hoping to many more!

Today marked the first Pre-Raphaelite x Tufting Experience in partnership with Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery!

The Pre-Raphaelites believed in craftsmanship, beauty and taking the time to truly observe the world around them, something that feels more important than ever. So it felt fitting to spend the day slowing down, learning, and making something by hand.

A huge thank you to Isra for such a fabulous tour. And to everyone who joined us today, thank you for bringing such warmth, creativity and curiosity to the room. It was everything this experience could be: creative, thoughtful and full of connection.

Who knew Pre-Raphaelites and tufting would make such a perfect match?

Nobody talks about the gremlin postures you form whilst tufting 😅

Standing, sitting, the matrix-style lean? Do whatever you need to do to get the angle! There's zero judgment and plenty of space for you to fan out and claim your territory!

There's just a couple of things we don't recommend in the studio, and doing the full splits is one of them!

So, are you more of a flamingo or sniper type tufter? There's only one way to find out! 😉
