Birmingham City Council Choir Birmingham City Council was one of five organisations chosen to appear in the second series of BBC Two's The Choir: Sing While You Work.

The choir from the show is still going strong and we now run a second community choir, all singing to improve workplace wellbeing. Like this page to get news and performance dates.

Today we took part in our first ever competition. We didn’t win but we came together, battled our nerves, supported each other and did our absolute best - and that’s as good as a win for us. And we got a lovely certificate and HONOURS. Well done us.

It’s been a short while since we did this but we still do really great things together and have more planned. Come and join us, you never know where it will lead. Now open to anyone who works anywhere in Birmingham and the surrounding areas
