Exactly 12 months ago today I began crocheting a square a day to make a 365 day blanket. I saw the inspiration online and the day of my younger son's birthday was the perfect opportunity to start - a spectacular birthday gift, one year in the making.

It's huge, it's colourful, and it's given me hours and hours (and hours and hours) of joy, downtime, mental health magic and the sense of achievement of creating something incredible.

So... was it worth it?

Sock-less in the cinema🥹😱. Meant to get one on the go today (current shortie was not cinema suitable), but was too busy. Brought a bit of crochet to get me through the trailers then, as soon as the lights go down, I'll have to white knuckle it. It better be a good film (Disclosure Day) 📽️
