Three people, three confessions, but only one truth.

The Rashomon Effect, so what is that?

It is a phenomenon where the same event is given significantly different, contradictory interpretations by the individuals involved, highlighting the subjectivity of truth and memory. Originating from Akira Kurosawa’s 1950 film Rashomon, it describes situations where, without objective evidence, multiple, often self-serving, perspectives of an event are presented as truth.

Come along and see how the Rashomon effect works….
