Hey! I’m Charlotte, a first year journalism student at the university of Derby and aspiring music journalist❤️
Ever since i was a child, music has played such an important role in my life. From having Piano lessons at a young age, to dancing to ‘The Prodigy’ in the car with my dad when i was 4, or starting a CD collection in primary school to having band-themed birthdays every year. I have always been obsessed with music, it’s a part of me❤️
Alongside this, i have always had a passion and talent for writing, english and reading. Therefore, Music Journalism really is the career for me❤️
I take massive pride in my Vinyl collection- I have original Beatles vinyls from the 1960’s and 70’s, special edition vinyls such as a ‘moving picture’ version of c’mon you know- Liam Gallagher. I also have an ever growing collection of Band tees/merch, band pin badges and music themed patches.
I even have a music themed bedroom AND a music tattoo! The best day of my life so far was 3/06/22 where i got to go to knebworth! it truly was such a magical day. Hopefully Oasis’25 will be able to top this ❤️
Going forward, i really hope to build this platform in order to help with my degree and create a large portfolio to aid my leverage into the music industry- and i really hope you can come along my journey with me❤️🎸
