Come and celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and the incredible talent of brilliant Midlands makers and artists at our autumn market on Sunday 13th September 10-3. 🍂
Our autumn market falls in Birmingham Heritage Week, so we’re shining a light on craftspeople using age-old techniques to create their handmade products.
Employing as much as possible recycled materials, Adelina from Khulelo makes small art wearables, stationery items, lavender filled keyrings, bags and pouches as well as some mixed media artwork, original greeting cards and prints.
Steve from Steve Dando makes handmade wooden gifts and homeware items such as wooden coin boxes, trinket boxes, serving boards, coasters, solid wood chopping boards, ‘block bots’, valet trays, wooden and mosaic trivets, and vintage Edison lamps crafted from reclaimed timber.
Stephen tales_from_the_pottingshed makes bright, colourful and functional ceramics from his studio close to the Lickey Hills. He will also be bringing his handmade Christmas decorations and handmade light up Christmas trees to our autumn market.
Clare Wainwright has been working with glass for over twenty years beginning with Tiffany style (copper foiled) work before learning techniques of glass fusing. Her work in small to medium sized decorative items typically hold a contemporary feel through the use of a variety of techniques such as screen printing and the inclusions of shells and glass nuggets.
