Come and celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and the incredible talent of brilliant Midlands makers and artists at our autumn market on Sunday 13th September 10-3. 🍂

Our autumn market falls in Birmingham Heritage Week, so we’re shining a light on craftspeople using age-old techniques to create their handmade products

Kristian Hegenbarth paints wildlife on wood and on canvas. He also makes greeting cards, prints and hand painted slate coasters.

Hennessy's Arts and Crafts make handmade books using traditional tools and methods. Letterpress, lino prints and digital prints and cards all designed and hand printed by themselves on their own presses and printers.

Twiggy Jemima Darby creates original artworks and greetings cards using the heritage craft of paper quilling. This technique involves rolling, folding and shaping strips of paper into intricate designs which Charlotte then places onto her cards or make into larger pieces. This craft is a very old and has been around for many hundreds of years. Famous quillers have included Queen Elizabeth I!

Candice Small is a watercolour artist, painting landscapes and seascapes inspired by her local area of beautiful Worcestershire.

Come and celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and the incredible talent of brilliant Midlands makers and artists at our autumn market on Sunday 13th September 10-3. 🍂

Our autumn market falls in Birmingham Heritage Week, so we’re shining a light on craftspeople using age-old techniques to create their handmade products.

Employing as much as possible recycled materials, Adelina from Khulelo makes small art wearables, stationery items, lavender filled keyrings, bags and pouches as well as some mixed media artwork, original greeting cards and prints.

Steve from Steve Dando makes handmade wooden gifts and homeware items such as wooden coin boxes, trinket boxes, serving boards, coasters, solid wood chopping boards, ‘block bots’, valet trays, wooden and mosaic trivets, and vintage Edison lamps crafted from reclaimed timber.

Stephen tales_from_the_pottingshed makes bright, colourful and functional ceramics from his studio close to the Lickey Hills. He will also be bringing his handmade Christmas decorations and handmade light up Christmas trees to our autumn market.

Clare Wainwright has been working with glass for over twenty years beginning with Tiffany style (copper foiled) work before learning techniques of glass fusing. Her work in small to medium sized decorative items typically hold a contemporary feel through the use of a variety of techniques such as screen printing and the inclusions of shells and glass nuggets.

Our autumn market falls in Birmingham Heritage Week, so we’re shining a light on craftspeople using age-old techniques to create their handmade products.

Chris from Handbags & Accessories by designer Chris Van Bylevelt in the UK makes fabric bags using repurposed, recycled, and vintage materials to produce unique one-off patchwork and applique pieces. She incorporates these with her own hand-painted, block-printed, or ecodyed fabrics as well as ‘rescued’ handcrafted textiles e.g.tapestries, embroiderys, linen tablecloths. She’s a firm believer in sustainability, with her message being to explore possibilities and to reduce wastage.

Tory Tory McNidder | Embroidery Teacher makes embroidery kits, patterns and stick and stitch packs all suitable for beginners and advanced stitchers alike! She also has an array of haberdashery items to complement any kit or pattern beautifully.

Alice from Handmade Alternative Kid's Clothing makes bright and bold handmade clothing for kids and adults. For those who like to unapologetically stand out!

Rachel from creates a treasure trove of needle felted textiles inspired by the natural world. Coastal birds, seascapes and garden florals all include elements of embroidery and feature on a range of handmade keepsakes, greeting cards and artwork.

This is where you’ll find us on Sunday for our summer market! We love our Grade 2 listed venue.

The hall has two entrances - the main doors have several steps up…

… and the side door has a permanent ramp for anyone needing level access. Both will be open while the market is on.

Parking is available on The Circle and nearby roads - please be considerate of residents by not blocking driveways or parking on grass verges - thank you!
