The Old Library, is a dynamic, functional events space in the heart Digbeth, Birmingham’s creative quarter. You will find our venue just ¼ mile from the city centre. The Old Library is a beautifully restored Victorian building, and is the last remaining of Birmingham’s five original Free Library’s opened in 1866. ⭐ BBC ASIAN NETWORK - WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT ⭐

🗓 When: Wednesday 23rd September @ 3pm

We are looking forward to hopefully seeing the first ever Guinness World Record be set in The Old Library! 🤞

✨ Join BBC Asian Network Breakfast with Nikita Kanda and be part of an attempt to set the Guinness World Record title for the Longest Pakora Dunking Relay.

For the attempt, participants will stand in a single-file line and each person will have a pakora and some chutney. When the official start signal is given, the first participant will dunk their pakora into the next participant's chutney and then eat it.

Once they have eaten it, the next participant will do the same with the following participant's chutney.

This process will continue along the line until every participant has completed their dunk and eaten the pakora. ✨

✨ Our second drinks reception location! ✨

A few weeks ago we shared a post on one of our drinks reception locations - "The Nomad" - and today we are sharing our other spot - "The Dome"! 🥂

Completely different vibes, but equally as stunning! 🙌 Directly opposite the front entrance of The Old Library, The Dome gets it's name from the breathtaking glass dome ceiling right in the centre ⭐

This space is open, airy & perfect for a standing drinks reception straight after saying "I Do" or as a welcome location for your wedding reception 🍸🍾

We love this space in the summer months, with easy access to outside and the sunlight beaming through the glass - it is gorgeous as a sister space to The Old Library! ☀
