The Old Library is a beautifully restored Victorian building, and is the last remaining of Birmingham’s five original Free Library’s opened in 1866. Did you know that we are older than so many everyday inventions? 🤔

Our historic Victorian space is actually older than things such as the airplane, telephone and television! 📺

The Old Library was standing when Typhoo Tea was created for the first time just down the road on Bordesley Street ☕

We are so lucky to have this beautifully preserved building and to be able to share it with so many people for their weddings & events ✨

P.S. who knew that the original vacuum cleaner was so big that it had to be drawn by horses? 🐎
