Infinite Opera Birmingham-based opera company Our practice is by nature interdisciplinary and collaborative.

Infinite Opera has engaged with the term ‘infinite’ from its beginnings, broadly understanding the concept ‘opera’ as an evolving and relevant artform. The term ‘infinite’ reflects our approach to performance making, evoking a constant re-engagement with our changing realities, and placing the audience as an active participant in an empathetic presentation of different aspects of our world. so we work in both a site and subject specific framing, focusing the creative process through in-depth explorations of topics via multiple viewpoints.

Where would we all be without our father, coroner, carpenter, boss, tv personality, boyfriend, drunkard, ancient goddess, media bro, and eccentric philanthropist?

Meet our minor character singers who are making major waves throughout the show!

1. Teddy Woolgrove - The Extremely Drunk Customer/Will the Carpenter
2. Tina Fung - The Building Coroner/Coach Station Customer/The Eccentric Philanthropist
3. Ed Harrison - Oscar (the boyfriend)/Rob Johnson (the father)/The Media Bro
4. Hannah Taylor - The Boss/Minerva
5. Robert Edward’s - The Developer/Coach Station Customer/The TV Personality

We are “Open for Business”!!

Next Sunday 30th August at 2pm and 6pm we will meet EH Smith Architectural Solutions to begin our grand operatic takeover of Digbeth! Follow us as we explore 9 venues across the area journeying through a whole year with our 4 main characters.

Part of the CBSO in the City Programme, we are lucky to have many talented performers and producers working with us to make this happen!
