WE DON’T NEED ANYTHING BUT YOU
Annie JR is now 100% complete! Every scene, song and scenery change has been set. Starting the 1st July, we will be in full runthrough and cleanup mode! But not before our exciting Relaxed Rehearsal next week.
This week, most of the focus was on Warbucks, Annie and Grace with a brief focus on Annie and Warbucks’ big 11 o’clock number, I Don’t Need Anything But You.
We now have costumes for most of the characters including; Warbucks, Grace, Hannigan, the Mudges, and most of the orphans, including a beautiful raggedy doll for Molly!
While we didn’t get any photos of this moment, the cast also got to experience listening to a working 1930s styled radio — the best response we had from one of the children was “That’s not a radio!” — do you think that’s them trying to tell members our team that we’re old? 🤣
Thanks to Robin Brooke-Flattery, the production team also got to see the first photos of Sandy, and we are so excited for both our audiences to meet him! He’s absolutely gorgeous!
