Hello friends 😃

I'm taking on a unit at the Old Print Works in Balsall Heath from the end of March. It's for my furniture renovation work and as part of setting up an upholstery and furniture collective with Maybee Upholstery.

Chester Draws Presents is where my hobby collides with my values and former career.

Chester Draws Presents will run maker clubs, workshops and events by and for people from marginalised communities.

The medium is making, creating, fixing and refurbishing, but the aim is acceptance, connections, friendships, improved mental health, fun and maybe to learn some new skills.

Things in the pipeline include:

DIY Interior design in collaboration with an inspiring young Black Instagrammer, Tereena Malaika (she/her)

Learn to Paint Pop Art with Jack (they/them)
