What do old vinyl records sound like? Well…

1997, Green Velvet taking you on a journey in deep underground house interlaced with cheeky humor that is a trademark of his personality. First, her this in the early hours in a dance tent and it still takes me in now as much as it did then. Genius production from one of the true Legends of the game. ☯️😁🏆🫡❤️✌️🟢🟢

What do old vinyl records sound like? Well….

1995, bootleg cheeky goodness. Trainspotters hold tight. A lot of cheeky little mash ups mid nineties (before the term mashup was widespread 🤣). The DJ bar scene was growing and dropping these little power plays in between the chugging house made the ice cubes in the overpriced cocktails rattle do the delight of promoters, bar owners and DJ’s getting the bookings (like me 🤣🏆). Fun times!! 😊🥰🏆🙌❤️✌️

What do old records sound like? Well…

1981, the very foothills of techno. Famously associated with Chicago’s hard beat pioneer DJ Ron Hardy. Driving German electronica with maverick but slightly amusing lyrics that are fun to translate. A great one in my collection that I personally enjoy listening to, but will I ever get the chance to play it out again? I’d love to at some point. 🫡❤️🇩🇪🤖👷❤️✌️🕊️
