We invite distilleries and whisky drinkers from around the world to celebrate and discover some of the finest whiskies in the city centre of Birmingham.

The festival is a relaxed and informal whisky tasting experience every whisky drinker should attend. One of UK's biggest whisky events bringing enthusiasts and whisky together, to an unfettered whisky gathering. 2022 tickets on sale now!

🥩 bakedinbrick – Former European Best Street Food Trader, back with their mouth-watering bavette steak sandwiches.

🍕 smoke + ash 🍕 – Local wood-fired pizza legends slinging freshly fired pizzas all weekend.

🍫 Kneals Chocolates – Delicious handmade chocolates, perfect alongside a dram or two.

☕ The Coffee Vagabond – Superb coffee to give you that much-needed festival pick-me-up.

Great whisky needs great food, and we’ve got plenty of both!

This time next week, we’ll be opening the doors for an extraordinary weekend of whisky!

Explore everything from bold Paul John Whisky single malts to elegant Suntory Whisky, classics from BushmillsUK and exciting new-world producers pushing the boundaries of what whisky can be.

Are you a fan of indie bottlings? 💥🥃

Different casks, unexpected finishes, single-cask releases and plenty of whisky at cask strength, independent bottlers have a knack for showing you a completely different side to some of your favourite distilleries… And there’ll be plenty to discover this year.

We’re welcoming back indie bottler favourites including Artful Dodger Whisky, Gordon & MacPhail, Hunter Laing & Wm Cadenhead’s.

Our Floor Maps Are Now Live!

On the Upper Floor, you’ll find a host of producers from around the globe. Discover a festival-exclusive English whisky from Retribution Distilling, highly sought-after bourbons and ryes from Buffalo Trace Distillery, and authentic rums from the Caribbean to the UK. We’re also excited to welcome and Port of Leith Distillery to the festival for the first time.

Discover a collection of exceptionally rare bottlings at the Fine & Rare by Nickolls & Perks, including old and rare whiskies, closed-distillery releases and plenty more.

You’ll also find the Nickolls & Perks Shop, where you can purchase many of the whiskies available at the show, along with extra Dream Dram tokens and ci**rs.

Our Floor Maps Are Now Live!

On the Lower Floor, you’ll find some of the biggest names in Scotch whisky, including the return of Springbank Distillery & Kilkerran, Bruichladdich Distillery showcasing the new Octomore 17 Series, and The Macallan joining us in Birmingham for the very first time.

Head through to the Food Court, home to the Brugal Rum Cocktail Bar, serving up Coconut Old Fashioneds, alongside coffee, cheese & charcuterie, chocolate and our Tasting Seminar space.

Out on the Roof Terrace, you’ll find awesome street food and plenty of space to kick back, enjoy your food and even pair your dram with a fine cigar.

We’re excited to welcome local wood-fired pizza legends Smoke + Ash to our Roof Terrace Food Court this year! 🍕

They’ll be slinging their classic wood-fired pizzas all weekend, alongside a very special whisky-inspired pizza created especially for the festival. 🍕🥃

We’re proud to work with amazing local small businesses to keep you well fed throughout the weekend.

After all… it’s a marathon, not a sprint. 💨

Calling all English Whisky & Rum Fans! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🥃

We’ll have an incredible 46 English whiskies and rums to discover at this year’s festival!

We’re looking forward to welcoming back festival favourites including White Peak Distillery, , DropWorks Rum Distillery and The Lakes Distillery, highlighting plenty of exciting new releases.

Retribution Distilling will be bringing a Midlands Whisky Festival Exclusive Chestnut Cask bottling, while local legends West Midlands Distillery | Whisky | Rum | Gin | Vodka will be showcasing their latest release ‘Siblings’; both will be available to purchase at the Nickolls & Perks Shop.

You’ll also be able to visit The English Distillery and taste the 2024 World’s Best Single Malt Whisky.

If you’re usually a Scotch drinker but fancy trying something a little different, there’s never been a better time to explore the rapidly growing world of English spirits.
