Because one man’s trash is another man’s treasure

Who knew swapping items for stories was so popular. Cache Converters popped up at Bullring Market for the at this year's Birmingham Weekender 2017.

Some lush items donated were a 37-year-old Kellogs Cereal box, 1996 World Cup program + Tizwaz Family Fun Book!

In the lead up to this year's Birmingham Weekender, Demi Nandhra and Toni Lewis are going door-to-door across Birmingham; collecting objects large and small for our stall at the Alternative Village Fete (Sunday 24th Septemeber)

HOW IT WORKS

We will collect your objects from anywhere in Birmingham! Your object (with the story of how it came to be in your possesion) will be donated to our stall. Your objects will then be swapped for other objects and stories with market goers throughout the day. You will recieve a postcard from the person who possesses your object with a new story. Sort of like geocaching... but in one place! If you wish to send us items via post, please post to

Wellworth Studios, 24-24 Regent Street, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, B1 3NJ.
