🌟 WOW… WHAT A SHOW! 🌟

We honestly couldn’t be prouder of our incredible dancers after Sunday’s show! 🤍

From the moment they arrived to the moment they left, their behaviour both on and off stage was absolutely amazing. The dancing was wonderful, the support they showed for one another was so lovely to see, and the energy, excitement and encouragement backstage made us incredibly proud.

Every single dancer stepped onto that stage and gave it their all. Whether they’re one of our littlest dancers or one of our experienced performers, it takes courage to get up in front of an audience — and they were all absolute superstars. ✨

We feel so lucky to have the school that we do. A school full of talent, kindness, friendship, support and the most wonderful young people. Seeing everyone come together on Sunday reminded us exactly why we love what we do so much.

To our dancers — you were INCREDIBLE. Be so, so proud of yourselves. We certainly are! 🥹🌟

And to all of our MDC families, thank you for your continued support and for helping us create such a special dance school. 🤍

SHE’S DONE IT!!! 🥹🏆🔥

FARREN IS OFFICIALLY A FREESTYLE CHAMP! 💫

This one feels extra special. 🥹

Farren started with us as a keen little beginner, and the amount of hard work, determination and pure dedication she has poured into her dancing since then has been incredible to watch.

Final after final. Grade point after grade point. So many moments of being so close to that first-place spot… but she never stopped. 💪🏼

We get the videos and pictures of her practising in her front garden - whatever the day, whatever the weather - always giving 100%. 🌧️☀️ She has worked day in, day out for this moment.

And yesterday, at the SUPERSTAR CHAMPIONSHIPS, it finally happened…

Farren, we could not be prouder of you. Not just because you’ve reached Champ, but because of everything it has taken to get there. You’ve taken every knockback, kept your head up, kept working and kept believing.

When the evenings get darker, please keep taking them to their clubs. 🤍

We know it’s harder at this time of year.

They’ve been at school all day. They’re tired. It’s cold outside. It’s already dark by the time you need to leave the house… and when they say “I don’t want to go tonight”, staying home can feel like the easier option.

But sometimes, the nights they don’t feel like going are the nights they need it most.

Because their club isn’t just dance, football, gymnastics, swimming or whatever activity they love.

It’s an hour away from their bedroom and their screens.

It’s seeing their friends.

It’s laughing, talking and feeling part of something.

It’s moving their body and releasing endorphins.

It’s building confidence, resilience and social skills without them even realising it.

It’s routine and connection during the darker months when it can become so easy for all of us to retreat indoors and isolate ourselves.

And more often than not, the child who didn’t want to go is the one who comes back through the door happier than when they left.

Of course children need rest. They need quiet evenings and time to switch off too.

But as autumn and winter arrive, don’t underestimate the importance of keeping the things in their week that get them moving, connecting, laughing and belonging.

Sometimes getting them through the door is the hardest part.

The smile when they come back out reminds you why you did. 🤍

🌈✨ RAINBOW WEEK REWIND ✨🌈

What a beautiful, uplifting week it’s was at the studio for Rainbow Week 💖

Each day we came together in colour — ❤️ Monday RED, 🧡 Tuesday ORANGE, 💛 Wednesday YELLOW, 💚 Thursday GREEN, 💙 Friday BLUE, 💜 Saturday PINK & PURPLE — celebrating not just dance, but each other.

This week was all about our dancers’ mental and physical wellbeing 💫 From calming yoga sessions, to a powerful confidence workshop, to “filling each other’s cups” with kind and positive words… the love and support in the room was truly something special 🥹

We also got creative with a fun paint team bonding challenge 🎨 (and made a bit of a mess along the way!) - but most importantly, we laughed, connected, and grew stronger together.

So proud of every single dancer for embracing the week with open hearts. This is what our dance family is all about 💕
