✨Taking a Moment to Pause and Reflect✨

Hello friends and followers,

We wanted to share that we’re taking a step back on company activity to pause, slow down, and reflect on our practices and operations. It’s been an incredibly busy 6 years. Our small collaboration has grown from 2 to 15 strong, we’ve worked through a pandemic as well as creating and delivering at full speed over the past 6 years and we feel it’s time to take a breather — to evaluate where we’re at and where we want to go next. 🌱

While we’ll still be working behind the scenes, our focus will shift towards reflection, rethinking, and restructuring, rather than producing at the same velocity as before. This isn’t a stop, but rather a chance to recalibrate and ensure that we can continue growing in the most sustainable and meaningful ways.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this exciting phase! We look forward to sharing what’s next when the time is right. Stay tuned for the next chapter!

Oooo we adore these photos by .francois of our amazing team and .barker02 delivering Astro Groover workshops at the Mini Shebang in August. These workshops encouraged young people to create their own Astro Groover badge and learn some of the moves from the show, as well as discovering their own unique groove! When the team returned to the Full Shebang in early September, it was amazing to see so many familiar faces who’d made the trip especially to greet the Astro Groover team; all eager to learn our interactive dance that discovers hidden dance floors!

Katie and Oliver were part of our Keep Moving workshops (supported by .dance) at the start of the year where they received training on how to lead workshops more inclusively. This was a great opportunity to put those skills to action! 🤩

The Astro Groovers are preparing for a craft and dance workshop at the Mini Shebang (Four Seasons Shopping Centre), so be sure to stop by 🎉

The Astro Groovers landed at Erewash Museum, turning it into an intergalactic playground! 🌌✨ We loved bringing our cosmic dance moves to the galleries and being part of Erewash’s summer programme!

Can we just relive last weekend at Deer Shed Festival? 🎉 The Astro Groovers took over Deer Shed with their out-of-this-world dance party! We had the BEST time there, and everyone who joined us was incredible. This super sweet review was the highlight of our weekend. Thank you, Deer Shed, for being amazing! 🙌

Big shoutout to our intergalactic performers for making it unforgettable. 🚀

And don’t forget, The Astro Groovers are heading to for Move at the Museum on the 8th of August, ready to move and groove with you all again.

The Astro Groovers are taking over Erewash Museum with another You're Out of This World performance! 🏛️

We're super excited to be performing in a museum space next week, they're one of our favourite places to share work! Having collaborated with Lapworth Museum, Barber Institute and Ironbridge Museum Trust in the past few years, we love how museum spaces unlock our creativity and surprise our audiences. Bringing the Astro Groovers to Erewash is going to be epic!!
