Here they are… first ever Street SQUAD!

Today was the first time several of these girls had tried out for one of our teams, most are stepping up to a new level or dancing with considerably older/more experienced performers, but every one of them smashed it clean outta there!

Now the fun starts, getting their first routine set by the time we break up for summer so it’s show ready for our Magical Musicals showcase on the 19th & 20th Sept!

What a team…
41 dancers, respective families, 4 routines prepared & sadly, 0 performances 🥴😢

I couldn’t be prouder of the camaraderie Or more stunned at the bad luck, but onwards…

I’ve started sourcing costumes for our Magical Musicals production at the Crescent Theatre, 19th & 20th September & that includes commissioning to make our Tiddlers’ Lion King manes & tails 🦁

Can’t resist sharing one of my all time fave pics of Flo wearing an identical set that I had for dancers many moons ago! 🥹 Circle of Life & all that!

We have 24 dances & circa 180 performers so you’ll appreciate how big a task costuming is. I work tirelessly to ensure costumes are as cost effective as possible - hiring where needed, or where I can buy for close to the hire fee, I will always do that so dancers get to keep their costume and we can handle any sizing issues etc ahead of the event.

I will spread the cost over the next few months for all of you & of course for myself as I buy all in the first place.

I have sourced/commissioned/hired/purchased the first costume for most of our class groups/routines - check your email if your child dances with:

* Tiddlers
* Weds Infants, Juniors, Advanced Juniors
* Sat Inters, Advanced Juniors
* Sat Infants, Juniors
* Tues CMJ
* Thurs Inters & Seniors

Costume payments need to be sent into the studios as correct cash in an envelope, with your child’s name on the outside & how much money is enclosed.

Please send to the next class so that everyone has paid by the time they are delivered so we can issue the costumes to everyone together. I can only issue to dancers who’ve paid.

When I issue the costumes we will film the routine in costume for uploading to our private YouTube channel to assist dancers over the summer hols & will also photograph each class group in costume for inclusion in the show program ❤️
