Here at The Folkist Magazine we aim to highlight the fleeting magic around Birmingham’s creative scenes of eras gone by with a unique magazine that looks back with a fresh perspective, challenging and inspiring future generations of Brummie Artists.

In the spirit of Folk Collectors we are seeking out infamous and unsung creatives and aim to bring their stories to print in a fresh Post-modern style.

We also promote current local independent arts groups and individuals across the city on our Facebook feed and here on this Blog.
