We’re excited to welcome four more speakers to this year’s Birmingham Black Business Conference, bringing a wealth of experience across entrepreneurship, law, leadership and community development.

✨ Dr Damilola Idowu - Founder of Deshapeables, a UK fashion and shapewear brand that she started with just £150 and has since grown to serve over 17,000 customers. Also the founder of Deshapeables UK Tradefair, she brings valuable insight into entrepreneurship, building a successful brand and creating opportunities for Black-owned and migrant-led businesses.

✨ Kunle Aderemi - President of the United Nigeria Welfare Association (UNIWA), Vice Chair of the Black Voices Council, Sandwell Police, and Publicity Secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Communities (NANC). Bringing valuable insight into community leadership, representation and advocacy.

✨ Rachel Okello - UK solicitor with over 23 years of experience, entrepreneur, international connector and Director of Clarity Visas. Bringing expertise across law, business and international connections.

✨ Olusegun Akande - CEO/Director of S&T Enterprises Limited and Co-Director of DMG Ventures Limited. Bringing his entrepreneurial experience and perspective on building and developing businesses.
