I’m proud to share that my piece, You Find Strength, is being exhibited as part of The Colors We Carry, an exhibition raising awareness of breast cancer, ovarian cancer and BRCA mutations.

The exhibition opens today, October 2nd, at Frame of Mind in Missoula, Montana.

Having been through breast cancer myself, being part of this exhibition feels particularly personal. There’s something quite special about knowing that one of my prints has travelled all the way from the UK to the States to be part of this exhibition.

The artist reception takes place on Friday, October 9th, and I wish I could be there in person. I’m so grateful to have a little piece of my story there through my work.

Thank you to Frame of Mind for including You Find Strength in such a meaningful exhibition.

The composition developed directly on the plates without preparatory drawings or a predetermined final image.

Limited edition of 20. This linocut is printed in seven colours from four separate blocks, including one jigsaw block.

Each print is hand burnished on Awagami Washi Bamboo 170 gsm paper using Caligo relief ink.

Here's another little look at this reduction linocut from earlier in the year.

It’s strange watching this back now things feel more normal again. When I was making it, everything still revolved around treatment and recovery. Now I’m back teaching workshops, back in the studio most days, and making plans again.

Still very grateful to be here printing.
