Today we shared our Port Hope warehouse studio with the team behind The Chronicle of Two Worlds as they rehearsed and refined their production ahead of tomorrow’s performance at the MAC.

A reimagining of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the work moves through memory, displacement, identity and belonging.

It was great to have the company in the space, filling the warehouse with movement, dialogue and the energy of a show coming together before it meets an audience.

The Chronicle of Two Worlds is at MAC tomorrow, Tuesday 6 October at 6pm. Link in Bio.

We recently opened our Port Hope warehouse studio to students from Aston University’s Centre for Enterprise, Coaching and Innovation (CECI).

There is something powerful about taking young minds out of traditional spaces and bringing them straight into a creative space like Port Hope.

The warehouse was alive with a different kind of energy, full of fresh perspectives and genuine collaboration.

The future needs leaders who aren't afraid to think outside the box, and this group brought that. It was a privilege to watch them challenge themselves and connect inside our space.

Thanks to the team at CECI and every student who stepped through the doors with an open mind.

There’s something special about what happens when artists come together at Freestyle Sessions. It’s a chance to step outside the usual performance setting, feed off each other’s creativity and take things in unexpected directions.

For many of the artists who join us, it’s an exhilarating experience that reminds them why they love what they do. You never quite know what’s going to happen, and that’s the beauty of it.
Come and experience it for yourself. Book your place via the link in our bio.

Punk Days is more than a story about music. It’s about growing up mixed race and working class in 1970s London, finding your people, finding your voice and discovering what punk could mean when the world around you was full of racism and division.

Part autobiography, part musical journey and part political coming of age, the show brings together live performance, music, movement and the raw energy of punk to tell a story that still feels sharply relevant today. These images give a glimpse of the people, ideas and details that have gone into bringing that world to the stage.

Punk Days comes to MAC Birmingham on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October. Get yours via MAC Birmingham https://macbirmingham.co.uk/events/punk-days
