B.D. Lenz returns to The Tower of Song on Thursday 12th November and this time, there’s going to be a lot more blues.

After the positively “bluesy barrage” of love the last time around, B.D. is embracing it properly, bringing the usual jazz-fusion originals and standards together with music from B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie King, Ray Charles and more.

Expect the groove-driven playing B.D. is known for, but with the blues turned up a notch. Think BD does BB (King)

Fly Rink are making their debut at The Tower Of Song on Saturday 10th October.

Four seasoned musicians, a set of original songs and influences that run through early punk, indie and grunge.

There’s plenty of energy in the music, but it’s not an attempt to recreate any particular band or era. It’s their own material, shaped by the music they grew up with and the sounds that stuck.

If you like your live music a little rough around the edges, this could be worth a look.

They’ve played here before and it's always a great night! and they’re bringing another night of big songs and good-time energy with them.

The fabulous Brad Henshaw and his band came in to The Tower yesterday evening and wowed an appreciative audience

The band played each song with a skill to be admired

Brad has a unique style, his original songs are memorable and they have an impact befitting a great performer with impressive songs , while his covers compliment a great set

Rain McMey is back at The Tower Of Song on Saturday 12th September.

Manchester-based Rain makes indie-punk for people who’d rather laugh at the apocalypse than deal with it properly. Somewhere between sweet melodies, sharp lyrics and raw emotion sits what Rain calls “Pixie Punk” — with just enough chaos thrown in.

Rain has played The Tower before, so if you caught the last one, you’ll have some idea what you’re in for. If not, this is a good opportunity to discover something a little different.
