This years only batch of my reindeers all done and oiled - once dry they will have their ribbons and bells added

It’s that time of yr again - reindeer production time !!!

Although I’m not doing any markets or fairs I have enough wood to do a batch of reindeers, so drop me a message if you fancy getting your hands on one.

A productive Sunday in the workshop - a solid beech cutlery drawer, just needs a base, knife holder and then sanding - and a clean up of the old stool from the post the other day -

Now for a dog walk and finally a beer !!

A small project for a local customer to repair a very old well treasured stool, quite a family heirloom with lots of memories attached to it -
Spindle replaced and the gap in the underneath of the seat has been wedged - broken stretcher cleaned out of the leg mortice and old glue cleaned ready for it to be glued back together - fingers crossed it’s strong enough to be used by the family once again 🙏🙏

A pair of pens leaving the workshop, in black limba and zebrano and a pile of oak boards entering for the latest commission, an oak cabinet for a repeat customer to store more of his record collection -

Nothings getting done particularly quickly but we’re moving forward on the waiting list of commissions ♥️
