It’s that time again… your weekly BAM weekend weather report, delivered with all the meteorological expertise you’ve come to expect from me.

Whatever the weather decides to chuck at us, we’re VERY much looking forward to being back on York Road this Sunday for Kings Heath Artisan Market.

It’s always one of my favourite Sundays of the month — loads of brilliant local independents, proper community vibes and a very good excuse to spend a few hours mooching around Kings Heath.

The next Bournville Artisan Market, brought to you by Birmingham Artisan Markets CIC, is back on Bournville Green on Sunday 18th, 11am–3pm

Come and spend your Sunday supporting a brilliant bunch of local independent makers, bakers, artists, designers, producers and small businesses, right in the heart of Bournville.

We absolutely love bringing our monthly market to the Green and seeing so many familiar faces coming out to support the traders who make it what it is.

Kings Heath Artisan Market is back THIS SUNDAY!

We’ll be taking over York Road from 10am–3pm with another brilliant line-up of local makers, artists, designers, producers and independent businesses.

There’ll be loads to browse, plenty of delicious things to take home, and a whole street full of talented local independents doing what they do best.

Kings Heath is where Birmingham Artisan Markets began, so this one will always be a bit special to us. We absolutely love seeing York Road buzzing on market day and the support from the local community genuinely makes these events possible.

Come down, have a wander, discover someone new and support some fantastic Birmingham small businesses.

The BAM Weather Forecast has landed.

Yes, apparently I’m doing weather now as well. Market organiser, hot sauce maker, occasional logistics department and, as of today, Birmingham’s least qualified meteorologist.

But I bring GOOD NEWS, BAM Fam.

The weather gods appear to have finally checked the rota and realised we’ve got an artisan market on.

Saturday is looking bright and dry, then Sunday is apparently going to be properly warm and sunny. In Birmingham. In September. I know. Suspicious.

Which is rather bloody convenient because this Sunday we’re back at Longbridge Artisan Market from 11–4.

So get yourselves down, support some brilliant local independents, eat something excellent and enjoy this frankly outrageous outbreak of decent weather.

Obviously this is Birmingham, so I accept absolutely no legal responsibility if the weather changes its mind.

Longbridge, we’re back this Sunday!

Longbridge Artisan Market returns this Sunday 6th September, from 11am–4pm, and we’ve got another brilliant bunch of local independents joining us.

Come along for a wander and discover loads of fantastic small businesses, with handmade goodies, art, gifts, treats and plenty of things you definitely didn’t know you needed until you spotted them on a stall. Then head over to our pals for a top notch sunday feed.

Shopping small really does make a difference, and every purchase goes directly towards supporting a local maker, producer or independent business.

So ditch the big online shop for an afternoon, come and meet the actual humans behind some brilliant Birmingham businesses and enjoy a Sunday mooch around Longbridge Shopping Park.

Have we got a SUPER September line-up for you BAM Fam!

7 markets across Birmingham this month, packed with brilliant independents, makers, artists, creators, treats, eats & plenty of BAM goodness!

& this month is an extra special one!…

We’re SO excited to be part of the IDOB, taking over Victoria Square for TWO days on Thursday 24th & Friday 25th September!

Expect a huge celebration of Birmingham brilliance, with BAM bringing along an incredible line-up of independent traders.

We’ll also be popping up in Longbridge, Kings Heath, the Jewellery Quarter & Bournville, before rounding off the month by celebrating Saint Paul’s Market’s 1st birthday!

September, you really are looking rather lovely.
