There are no finish lines.
But there are places you want to tick off along the way.
Northern Ireland has been on my list for a long time, and running a half marathon through Derry felt like a pretty damn good way to finally put a tick next to it. 13.1 miles later, it didn’t disappoint. Not even close.
The race was only part of it.
I came over with my Northern Irish mate Simon, who’s spent the weekend showing me his corner of the world. Portrush, Portstewart, the north coast, a few stories, a few pints and plenty of miles.
I came here for a finish line.
I’m leaving with a much bigger reason to come back.
