We loved seeing disabled and non-disabled dancers come together, get involved and celebrate the power of dance.

On Thursday 3 September, Irwin Mitchell will be offering a free legal drop-in service in partnership with Propel Dance. If you have questions about the care or treatment you’ve received, this is an opportunity to speak with one of their experienced solicitors during a free 30-minute telephone or video appointment.

Appointments are available between 9:00am and 5:00pm. If you are unable to attend on this date, please get in touch and they will be happy to arrange a conversation at a more convenient time.

We’re taking over the Bullring! ✨

Join Propel Dance, as we bring an exciting day of dance to the heart of Birmingham on Saturday 29 August.
Expect a series of joyful, powerful and technically thrilling performances that celebrate the artistry, athleticism and creativity of disabled dancers.

Blending contemporary dance with Para Dance Sport technique, every performance offers something unique.

We’re delighted to be joined on stage by our Freewheeling Community Dance Group, alongside a brand-new commissioned performance featuring a community cast of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Together, we’ll be showcasing what disability dance looks and feels like when it takes centre stage.

Want to get involved? We’d love you to join us! Throughout the day there’ll be opportunities to take part in an inclusive dance workshop led by our Artistic Director, Helen Mason, everyone is welcome, whatever your experience.

Meet our Birmingham Weekender Community Dancers! ✨

We’re so excited to introduce some of our incredible community cast bringing our brand-new commissioned work to life. ❤️

Made up of disabled and non-disabled dancers, this piece is a true celebration of what disability dance can look and feel like when it takes centre stage.

Last month, we had the absolute best time celebrating Disability Pride at the University of Manchester! 💙✨

It was a joy to both perform excerpts from The Snow Queen and lead an inclusive dance workshop with our Artistic Director, Helen. We were recently sent these beautiful photos and this wonderful testimonial from the team, and we’re so excited to share it with you all.

”We were thrilled to celebrate Disability Pride with Propel Dance at the University of Manchester. Ayuna and Rebecca performed segments from The Snow Queen, which was OUTSTANDING. Ayuna’s Gerda was delightful, and we were truly terrified for her character when she faced off against Rebecca’s Snow Queen! Helen followed this with an amazing workshop, which left all of us (able-bodied, wheelchair, and power chair users) absolutely in giggles, and maybe a little bit out of breath too!
