🦖🦕We’ve Been Framed - ARTSHOW PREVIEW No. 2 - art tease AND frame

“Clever Girl” the first of two Ruiz Burgos pieces for We’ve Been framed - for this one he’s done a spectacular original drawing inspired by Jurassic Park.

It will be housed in a 5x7 frame that isn’t rare but is perfect for Jurassic Park with its rock and fern design, and the glass will be replaced by one of our Framing Partners - more on them soon!

🧐What is We’ve Been Framed

Hopefully the art show’s concept is becoming clear now - though they’re not all as cute as this!

Over 60 !NEW! artworks have been created by leading movie poster artists from all over the world especially for the show. And all profits will go to bereavement charity Edward’s Trust.

Every piece is inspired by both a movie or tv show and the ‘character’ pictureframe in which the artwork sits. The result is a cohesive one-off 3D display piece featuring a 2D original artwork.

🎨 The show and the auction

The show kicks off with our launch event at The Jointworks on Friday 2nd October - ticket link in bio. All ticket proceeds go to Edward’s Trust.

The art show will stay on display for 4 weeks, meanwhile the pieces will be auctioned online - available internationally.

We can’t wait to show you more of what we’ve cooked up!

We’ve Been Framed - PREVIEW No.1 - art tease AND frame

Bella Grace has created two pieces for our show - the first is a BEAUTIFUL original painting inspired by Toy Story, entitled:

“The Claw Chooses Who Will Go And Who Will Stay”

Swipe across and you’ll it’ll be housed in a rare Toy Story frame that was once available from some of the Disney Parks.

The pairing is soooo so good we can wait for you to see the finished result.

From 6pm on Friday 2nd October at Jointworks, Birmingham we’ll be launching ‘AMPjam Presents: We’ve Been Framed’ pop culture art show in aid of Edward’s Trust .

A quirky concept pop culture art show.

Over 60 !NEW! artworks have been created by leading movie poster artists from all over the world especially for the show.

Every piece is inspired by both a movie or tv show and the ‘character’ pictureframe in which the artwork sits. The result is a cohesive one-off 3D display piece featuring a 2D original artwork.

At the launch, we’ll have:

🎨 SOME artists in attendance
🎨 Art stalls
🎨 Poster talks
🎨 Charity auction
🍺 Refreshment available
🤩 lots of fun

All of the We’ve Been Framed pieces will be auctioned online after the show. Pieces will be shipped when the 4-week display concludes, all profits go to Edward’s Trust.

Just before the auctions end the following weekend, we have AMPjam Sessions 2026 online - with plenty of panels like old times!

Our third and final event announcement of the year, presenting:

AMPjam Lounge @ Open House on 12th September

Back from the depths, AMPjam has arisen in 2026 to put the “fun” back into fundamentally great movie poster art.

The AMPjam Lounge will be a spot to chill BUT ALSO get an exclusive sneak peek at AMPjam’s upcoming ‘We’ve Been Framed’ art show, set to take place in Birmingham on 2nd October.

This is the first chance to see *some* of these original artworks, in a show set to feature many of your favourite movie poster artists.

Each one is created especially for, and set within, an inspiring character frame. It’s a concept that has to be seen to be comprehended.

We will also have giveaways, merch, free sweets and activities.
