Another performance done, thank you to those who came along to support us, Hunter A Bliss Alison Eyre et al and thank you for our page, we are still working towards gaining 1000k followers and then we will be entering everyone into a prize draw to win a spa day for two at MacDonald's Craxton Wood Hotel...now that has to be better than a £1 box of Heroes... unless you're using them for a chocolate facial...we won't ask!

Doors open at 7.00pm and the production begins at 7.30pm, there will be two separate intervals of approximately 15 minutes each, to enable our stage team to change scenery, but providing you an opportunity to try our artisan popcorn (we've added a new white chocolate flavour), which is very popular and we are working on our Peanut Butter flavour, coming soon. But we also have new coffee options of a freshly made Latte or Cappuccino at our bar 'The Popcorn Arms', none of it out of a jar...it isn't a Mellow Birds advert.

A big thanks to What's On The Wirral for promoting our productions, we're building our audiences both new faces and regulars, it all helps build our brand.

You might have seen our promotional vehicle out and around Wirral, Chester, and Wales over the last few weeks, this time we popped in Bluebell tea rooms/ Cafe they were very kind to put up a poster and they serve a well priced breakfast along with fine tasting latte's, with reasonable prices....so we didn't need to sell a kidney.

If you find yourself nearby why not pop in and say hello to their pleasant staff, and it is animal friendly too....tell them the guys at Popcorn Productions sent you!

In the meantime if you find yourself looking for something to do on a hot evening why not pop along and enjoy an evening out...we even have ice creams!

The eclipse might have ended, along with our second performance... but fear not we have another three performances of Oscar Wilde's classic comedy 'The Importance of Being Earnest' being held Westbourne Hall.

Our second performance this evening went really well indeed, thank you to those who attended, be sure to leave some positive feed back and keep an eye out for our next productions.

Our next performance is Friday evening, running until Sunday.

It was our opening night last night, a big thank you to those who attended and supported the first performance.

A special thank you to Karen Jones for your kind comments, continued support and popping along to opening night.

Our marketing team was out and about again this weekend across Wirral handing out leaflets and posters to the general public, into shops and through letter boxes promoting our upcoming play Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest'.

We mentioned in our previous post an exciting update, it is our 'Popcorn Doorstep Challenge', our last leaflet was posted through someone's front door over the weekend, if you recognise this door as your own...you will receive Two FREE front row seats to one of our performances, like a classic Agatha Christie we will be releasing further clues prior to our opening night.

It was our last rehearsal Birkenhead Park this evening for the upcoming play next Wednesday Westbourne Hall of Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest'.

Our cast did very well with their lines, blocking and energy was much improved, furthermore they managed to avoid being bitten by flying ants, dodge the light showers of rain, prevent becoming part of the several drug deals taking place, they didn't get stabbed or run over by the many e-scooters whizzing through the place at high speed!

If ever there is a new Olympic Sport...it shall be 'Extreme Acting'!

Only a few days left until our opening night for our next production of Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest' Westbourne Hall August 12th to August 16th.

We had our cast pose around our branded vehicle which will be out and about tomorrow in Heswall doing final promotions, along with a little extra surprise that we will announce very soon.

Thanks to Peter Hennessey Gareth Griffiths Julia Helen Emily Victoria Lucy Ashdown and the rest who are not on Facebook but equally appreciated!

They have been working really hard doing rehearsals every day this week, with three rehearsals per week prior for the last few months, with our tech and dress on Tuesday next week at the venue.

Our production team continues this evening working hard building our set pieces and various bespoke props to bring our stage to life, and adding to our ever increasing prop and stage furniture hire department.

Thanks Utopia Marketing our marketing agency who are working on the souvenir programmes and our full marketing campaign. The cast were treated to professional headshots done by Markette Media
