It’s that time again…when Uni beckons!
Katie, Elsie and Ruby have been with me for 4 years. Best friends from primary school…they even formed a band together whilst still at school. Bright futures ahead for all I’m sure. Good luck girls..☺️

Meet Albatross! A five piece Bingley band who were finalists at this week’s Young Musician competition, featuring vocals, drums (taught by Mark of AireDrums - Music School in Bingley), guitars (taught by Dave of Bingley Guitar Studio) and keys (taught by Becs Leighton Music). They’ve only been together 6 months and they commanded that stage like pros, with a very cool cover of Roadhouse Blues by The Doors.

Amazing to see local talent coming together and creating something awesome.

Congratulations to one of my students Poppy, who is currently taking part in the hit CBBC TV series ‘Got What It Takes’. A very talented young performer who has been with me since primary school, Poppy has already performed live many times, and is now in with a chance to win a live slot at ‘Radio 1’s Big Weekend’. I am very proud to play a part in Poppy’s musical journey. “Go Poppy”!

We are really delighted to be able to announce the news that Poppy has spent a very exciting summer filming with CBBC and will be appearing in the popular talent show Got What it Takes - with 7 other very talented young singers.
The first episode airs on Monday 24th of September, and the series runs for 10 weeks.
Follow Poppy's adventure, watch the wild challenges, experience the ups and and the downs and see what she learns about the music industry.
The twist is that her mum had to take part too! (Way out of her comfort zone)
