Apologies … meant to post this earlier in the weekend …

I’ve been in the adjudicating chair again and loving seeing all the children & schools at Spring Dance Festival in ASKERN absolutely smashing it. The standard is high! Very high and every section a joy.

Anyone remember the old Horsforth Easter competition at St Margaret’s Hall ? I used to love breaking open my Easter eggs while watching my fellow competitors…

Well done to Claire & Jo for organising such a warm hearted event for these youngsters.

I’ve spent a glorious morning teaching on their adult Pop Up programme … a glorious morning where I delivered a class and then we created a 4 minute piece inspired by awakening, revival, restoration and renewal .. both myself and all the participants left the building walking a few inches taller, with hearts full of joy and a feeling of immense accomplishment …

I feel blessed to still be able to step up to the barre, pirouette from the corner and push my own mind and body to move and inspire and create something wonderfully joyful but to encourage others to do just that too …

Thank you for inviting me to do this again. Here’s to the next time …
