Gracie Glass

Gracie Glass I run friendly, hands-on copper foil glass workshops in West Yorkshire and sell hand made glass pieces.

All profits from classes, and the sale of my fused, copper foil, and stained glass pieces are donated to TSSSUK in memory of my daughter Gracie.

Some people have been supporting Gracie Glass Bingley since the very beginning, and Joyce is definitely one of them. 💛

So when her daughters got in touch to ask if I could help make her birthday a little extra special, there was no way I was saying no.

The brief was wonderfully simple… she loves dragonflies!

It was such a pleasure to create a bespoke handmade piece for someone who has supported my little side hustle for so many years. Knowing it was made especially for Joyce made it even more meaningful.

If you’re looking for a unique, handmade gift for a special birthday, anniversary, retirement, or just because, I’d love to help bring your ideas to life. Get in touch and let’s create something truly personal. ✨

Nothing makes me smile more than seeing what people create on a workshop day, especially when they leave with a piece they’re genuinely proud of.

This beautiful glass beetle was made by one of my recent workshop attendees, and just look at the detail and creativity that’s gone into it! 🪲✨

I’m always amazed by what complete beginners can achieve in just a few hours with a little guidance, plenty of encouragement and a lot of imagination.

If you’ve ever thought about trying copper foil glass, this is your sign to give it a go. You might just discover a new hobby and leave with something you never thought you could make.

Today I got a tour of this hidden street in Keighley and honestly, I was fascinated. Sometimes it’s worth looking up and exploring what’s right on your doorstep!

A huge thank you to the lovely members of Craft Club and their friends and family for making me feel so welcome at Ilkley Baptist Church. 😊

There’s something really special about introducing people to copper foil glass and watching their confidence grow as their creations start to take shape. This group certainly didn’t disappoint! From the first glass cuts to the finished pieces, the creativity on display was incredible.

Every workshop is different, and I always love seeing the unique designs people come up with. I managed to grab photos of all but one of the finished pieces and, as you can see, there was plenty of talent in the room and lots of beautiful glasswork heading home at the end of the session.

Thank you for having me and for such a fun, creative afternoon. I hope you’re all feeling proud of what you achieved! ✨

This is exactly why I love running these workshops 💛

Seeing someone walk in feeling a little unsure, learn completely new skills and then leave with a piece they genuinely can’t stop looking at is such a lovely thing to be part of.

This beautiful piece was created at one of my recent copper foil workshops and I absolutely love how it turned out ✨

“Lovely workshop, really enjoyed myself and pleased with what I made… Thoroughly recommend, will be back again!”

Reviews like this honestly mean the world to a small business and help encourage other people to take the plunge and give glass a go too.

No experience needed, just a willingness to have a go, get creative and probably become slightly obsessed with glass by the end of the day 😄

Keep an eye on my page and website for future workshop dates!

I genuinely love running copper foil workshops… you just never know what you’re going to get ✨

Who’s going to walk through the door, what experience they’ll bring (or not!), how they’ll take to it… it’s all a bit of an unknown. And honestly? That’s part of the fun. You just go with it, create a relaxed space, and hope it clicks.

And today… it really clicked.

This group didn’t hesitate – they just got stuck straight in. The ideas, the focus, the creativity… it was amazing to watch. Every single piece turned out completely different, full of personality and flair, and that’s exactly why I love what I do 💛

There’s nothing better than seeing people surprise themselves with what they can create.

There’s something really special about being trusted with a bespoke piece 💛

This one was created for a very lovely lady’s birthday, with a brief that instantly made me smile… dragonflies and the colour yellow.

The finished piece is a mixed media glass candle front, sitting beautifully in a handmade oak base. I’ve used a combination of fused glass, tack fusing and glass paint to bring this delicate dragonfly to life, with bright yellow wings catching the light perfectly when the candles are lit.

I absolutely love how personal pieces like this turn out – full of meaning, made with care, and completely one of a kind 💫

If you’ve got a special occasion coming up and fancy something a little different, just drop me a message.
